I adore this venue a lot. there is a very nice atmosphere. The food is good. the service is powerful and the stuff is trained. The cost is modest. I definitely recommend.

This is a gem in Auburn. The crunch role is the best. They are good with kids and very friendly. Never had a bad meal here, highly recommended. It can be busy so call for reservations ( few do so it makes it easy to get in)

The best sushi I've ever had

Hanami Sushi is my favorite sushi place in Auburn. Wonderful food and a cozy atmosphere made even better by the friendly and attentive staff. Definitely recommended!

My family enjoyed our lunch here. It’s located in beautiful downtown auburn. Beautiful during Christmas. Chefs are nice and I liked the food here very much. Would recommend.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I can't say enough good things about it. Food was quick and delicious. They have a huge menu all of which I wish I could've tried.

I ordered takeout. When I got home I discovered that I had been given salmon teriyaki, but I had ordered saba which is grilled mackerel. Don't get me wrong, all the food was tasty including the salmon, but I was in the mood for mackerel. I think this could have been avoided if they would have the phone somewhere more quite. When I called in, there was so much background noise that the person who answered kept talking over me. 4 stars for the food. 3 stars for the wrong order. I will probably order from here again.

Absolutely one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had eating sushi. Bruce, the man who makes the sushi, recommended the Red Dragon roll and the OMG roll. Both were phenomenal. Bruce was not only an excellent chef, but his manners and witty humor were beyond compare. I live around the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento and I will definitely be finding the time to return here soon.

Great sushi/Japanese restaurant. Of course their rolls are delicious, but their chicken katsu, potato croquettes, and gyoza are also favorites of ours. They also have the glass ball soda which is always never enough 😋

Love Hanami!! Been eating here since they opened & have never been disappointed. Everything is always fresh & delicious. You won't regret it.

We love this place! Amazing food and service. We had lunch there today and while we ate they closed after lunch like usual. We have a newborn baby and he started crying while we finished up eating. The owner came over and stood by our table as she bounced with our baby. He stopped crying and was very happy with her. Thank you for being so kind and caring about your customers. We will forever be a customer.

This is by far one of my all time favorite sushi restaurants. Its a cutely decorated hole in the wall with fresh fish and competitive prices. I love that they don't over sauce their rolls, they have a little something for everyone.

My family has been going to Hanami Sushi for nine years and we haven't cotton tired of it yet. It's really hard to find affordable and good quality sushi, but Hanami fits both criterias. The food is great the restaurant has both seating outside and inside which includes an upstairs. I highly recommend it🍣🍤🍢💞

We were recommended to come here since I ruined my glasses and needed it repaired. While I was waiting on it to get fixed, Anna from Wattswerks Optical across the street told us we had to try the food here.she was spot on with her recommendation!Oh my gosh the food here was fantastic.their miso soup was great too! A must stop for anyone passing through.

A small comforting restaurant. Very great tasting sushi! Great service and awesome sushi chef. He gave me a free side dish for ordering lots of yellowtail related dishes. I've been there a few times and i would go back.

Fantastic service! Ordered togo and the hostess was so friendly and made it a very enjoyable experience ordering ahead. I can appreciate how easy everything was. Even more satisfied with my food! It was wonderful and everything was made so fresh. I would recommend anyone in the area come here for lunch or dinner. Very cute area too!

I have heard numerous good things about hanami and honestly it has to be some of the best sushi I've had in ages. I had their red dragon roll and a glass of plum wine and it was delicious. They put so much into making their food and atmosphere the best possible and everything tastes phenomenal. I had a lovely time and think I found my new favorite sushi ever

Excellent Sushi! In addition to a variety of sushi, they have many other non-sushi related dishes. I especially enjoyed their pot stickers, best I've ever had!

I feel like 2 stars is a generous review. From the second I walked in the waitress was in no way welcoming and seemed like she must have been having a bad day. I ordered a roll and asked for no shrimp on it and it came with shrimp. When I asked them to remove it they said that I never said no shrimp and then finally said they would remake it for me. Normally when someone messed up your order you can keep the old dish if you want because they are just going to throw it away. I figured I would take it home to give to a family member cause I wasn’t going to eat it. She told me I would have to pay for it if I wanted to keep it though they were going to through it away anyhow. Then I made a comment about it to my friend who was with me and the waitress overheard me and didn’t say another word to me the whole rest of the time. Maybe I came in on a bad day? My friend told me it was good. The sushi was well..... sushi. It was decent.

I tried this place again for the third time.. I must say, the food is good, but not excellent.. and the service... the owners are clearly running the place, and why they can’t have a smile and a hello when you walk in the door is shocking. I give three stars for the food, and the server Sonny.. Sonny, deserves 5 stars, she walked up to the table with a smile and was happy to take care of us.. As for the rest of the place, I mean, the little things are the difference between going there and going up the street to Ninja Sushi, where the food is great and the service is great! I hope the owners will read this review and appreciate Sonny, who was the only reason we stayed. Honestly it felt like they just didn’t even care a party of three just came in to spend $100 on a dinner that was just alright..
